Brock grew up in Kamloops, an active member of sports teams and clubs at Kamloops Senior Secondary. He then attended UBC where he received his Bachelor of Arts in English, before getting a TESL certificate and Broadcast Journalism diploma years down the road.
You may have recently heard Brock on NEWS 1130 radio, where he worked as an anchor, producer and manager for almost ten years. Before that Brock taught English as a second-language in Vancouver and overseas for several years, including stops in Tokyo, Prague, Melbourne and London.
Buying and selling property is in Brock’s blood, having grown up in a family of Realtors. Both his grandparents were successful agents, with his grandfather “Babe” Nicholson assisting hundreds of families in the purchase and sale of their homes in Metro Vancouver and Kamloops. Brock is thrilled to follow his passion and each day looks forward to guiding his clients through one of the most important decisions of their lives.
Brock and his wife Frances enjoy travel, wine and food, and can often be found biking or jogging along the Stanley Park Seawall. Frances is a very busy Midwife, bringing hundreds of babies into the world (usually in the middle of the night), which doesn’t leave much time for their much-valued escapes to family on Saltspring Island.
